Product Description of Light Duty Suspended / Suspension Plate Magnets:

Suspended plate Magnets are designed for effective tramp metals extraction from the high volume material by Installation above Conveyors. Using big-size ferrite and a properly designed configuration ensures the tramp iron can be taken from thick layer material flow by heavy-duty plate. For fine metal powders in thin layer material flow, a light duty plate made of rare earth magnet is available also. Supplied with deep mounting tapped holes in the back of the plate or four eye bolts, these plate magnets can be rigidly mounted with threaded bolts or suspended by eye bolts using cable or chain systems.

Suspended plate Magnets are often installed under conveying material, suspended above the conveyer belt, or installed at the terminal of the conveyer. The strong magnetic field of the plate magnet separator will attract and hold the iron tramps when the material passes through the plate magnet.

The magnet inside the plate magnet is usually Ferrite or Rare-earth magnet. They are assembled regularly to optimize high performance. To meet customers’ particular requirements, we have multiple designs subject to different product volumes and flow speeds.

Applications of Light Duty Suspended / Suspension Plate Magnets:
Plate magnets can remove tramp iron such as Bolts, Nuts, Bits of Wire, Nails, and other casual impurities from free-flowing materials, like gravel, corn, sugar, plastic, flour, and other granular materials in the conveying course.

Suspended Magnetic Plate Gauss and Hanging Height Confirmation

In order to confirm that our offer is suitable for your use, please confirm the following information:

1. What is the height of your magnetic plate suspension? As shown in the figure below, the distance between the bottom surface of the magnetic plate and the conveyor belt.

2. What is the size range of iron impurities that you need to filter? This helps us identify the Gaussian strength you need to use. The Gauss strength of our usual products is 70mt, if your belt width is less than 1 meter, and the iron impurity size is 30-50mmcan use 50mt. Such as our detection method in the video. Hang the magnetic plate at the required height, and place the Gauss meter on the floor to measure the Gauss value of the vertical distance.
