Magnetic Protection Against Tramp Iron Contamination
Magnetic Separator or Magnetic Liquid Traps are designed and engineered to remove ferrous tramp, metal Impurity from liquid processing and conveying and slurry lines.
Efficiently remove tramp iron and metal before maintenance and product contamination problems occur. The benefits of this liquid magnetic separator can be experienced in most cases with no appreciable pressure drop or reduction in flow rates.
All units incorporate a sump type SS304 or 316 housing to trap non-ferrous particles. Liquid Traps may be installed horizontally, vertically, or at an angle without affecting their magnetic efficiency, according to customer’s specific application.
They provide dependable protection against tramp iron contamination and come equipped with powerful, strong magnetic fields and high working temperature Neodymium magnets to capture even magnetic debris like work-hardened stainless steel fragments. The Liquid temperature can be 250C max.

Operation of Liquid Line Magnetic Ferrous Tube Trap Filter Separator:
As liquids or slurries are pumped through the Liquid Trap separators, ferrous contaminants adhere to the magnetic tubes or magnetic bar. The design and construction allow the tramp iron to go around the downstream side of the tubes where it is safely out of product flow and wash off are prevented. The Cleaning job is achieved by removing the top plate and removing the magnetic assembly from the housing. The housing is designed not only to protect the magnet but also to act as a sump, to reach the easy-clean and fast-clean goal.
